The Opposite of Minimalist

This week has flown by and I'm just getting to reading the new issue of Lonny and just getting to a blog post finally! This picture has officially converted me away from minimalist style. First off this wallpaper was designed by the homeowner. You can find out how in Lonny Magazine. I really love the mix of colors and all the beautiful framed artwork on the walls. The mixture of patterns is done beautifully between the wallpaper, drapery, carpet, and upholstered chairs. You just need to be pulling in some of the same colors and you can mix it up all you want. I'm thinking it would be pretty easy to put together pictures like this yourself with some flea market frames and color copy images from books at the library for some interesting, inexpensive artwork.
