I have my heart set on the Pottery Barn Serafina Fabric that has been discontinued for some time. (Pottery Barn used to sell it by the yard). I have scoured the internet for it hoping that someone would have yardage for sale but to no avail. I plan to find 2 club chairs similar to the one above off of Craig's List or Ebay and have it re-upholstered in a fun bright printed fabric to bring a great pop of color into the living room in my design plans for our next home. The colors in the Serafina fabric are perfect since you could go in many directions with the rest of your accent colors. It's a modern print but you could pair it in either a traditional or modern room. I have just begun my search for something similar but thought these Joseph Frank Textiles were a possibility.
This last one is an Otomi fabric. I am really liking the colors in this one as well.
If anyone has the Pottery Barn Serafina fabric let me know! What is your favorite option from above?
I'm looking for the same fabric after my children stained my CA King duvet cover and the dry cleaners BLEACHED it. Ruined, ruined, ruined.
ReplyDeleteIf you happen to locate it, PLEASE keep me in mind for it, as well. I'd be eternally grateful to be able to replace my beloved pattern.
Regards,
Nola :)
Thanks for your comment Nola! I have sadly not found it yet but I have not given up my search. I will let you know if I find it!
ReplyDeleteUgh! I am looking for this as well and stumbled across your blog. I should have just bought it when it was available :(
ReplyDeleteI too have been on the hunt for this elusive fabric...it drives me crazy that it is so impossible to find (which,of course, makes me want it that much more!!!). Shouldnt it be available fom another vendor or under another name??? Someone could cash in BIGTIME if they could get their hands on that to makenitnavailable again... It is so beautiful and I have been searching for something close to it for a couple years now...will keep looking.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this fabric. A few years ago, I purchased 3+ yards or so of it and still have it, folded and stashed away. It is a very heavy upholstery fabric, but unfortunately I did not purchase enough to upholster one of my armchairs in it. I am trying to decide on what to do with it, since it is so pretty and I don't want to waste an inch of it.
ReplyDeleteI just found a chateau style dining set that needs a good refurb, so I though I might use it for the seat cushions, but the thought of someone staining it with food made me discard that idea.
I also Loved the Pottery Barn serafina fabric, I went to Home goods one day and came across a pillow that looked so similar I had to buy 2 of them. The tag stated Wilmington, Check it out, Covington Wilmington Multi Fabric. The pillows are bright and fun and the pattern is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI am selling some on ebay!

Thank you so much for your post! I was hoping to find enough yardage to cover an entire chair, but I appreciate any suggestions. :)
DeleteThe Serafina fabric is made by Braemore. They have a similar, but not quite as nice fabric called Wonderland. It comes in 3 colors and the one that is nost like the Serafina fabric is called Wonderland Pearl.
ReplyDeleteThank you Petra! I will definitely look into this fabric. I checked it out online and it may look different in person, but do you know if it has a brick red tone in it or is it more pink?
DeleteI have great news ladies! I am cleaning out my closets and have Pottery Barn Serafina fabria 5.125 yards,54 inch still in plastic bag. Has not been touched since purchase. I was going to make a slipclover for my couch with it but never got around to it. If you are interested in buying the material, let me know ASAP.
ReplyDeleteI have a picture of the fabric in the bag if you are interested.

ReplyDeleteHi Annette,
DeleteI came across this comment while searching for my own Serafina fabric by the yardage. Is this still available? Thank you!
